It’s so invigorating to scour the house for all the clothes that don’t fit right, kitchen gadgets that you don’t use anymore, and toys that your kids don’t play with. If you’ve recently remodeled or redecorated, Habitat for Humanity is the perfect place to donate those items. And now there’s another reason to feel good about de-cluttering your home. When you donate your usable items to Habitat for Humanity of Española Valley & Los Alamos, we’ll sell them in our Thrift Shop, ReStore and Furniture Store, and the money will go directly towards Habitat for Humanity’s mission to eliminate poverty housing.
When we opened our ReStore in Española in 1997, it was the first ReStore in the state of New Mexico. At the time there were only 50 ReStores in the U.S., and now there are over 900! We opened a used Furniture Store at the same location in April 2017. All funds raised from the sale of donated items helps build affordable housing in our community.
